A HSA Health Plan is another type of Health Insurance policy that is available to you. HSA stand for Health Savings Account.   The HSA plan works similar to your typical high deductible PPO plan but you can add on a savings account to the plan. The money in this account is tax free dollars, which is a major advantage!   The savings account can be used for paying medical bills and services. You can earn interest from your account and any unused dollars will be rolled over from year to year. You will get checks a debit card and statements like any other normal bank account.

HSA accounts in the past only came with higher deducible plans but that is no longer true. Anthem Blue Cross of California now has lower deductible plans as low as $1,500. With Anthem Blue Cross they also give you all your yearly preventive care free.

The great thing about these newer plans, if you don't want to set up a bank account and just want the health plan you don't have to. You can have the HSA plan without any account.   If you would like to discuss your needs and if you feel an HSA is for you, please give me a call toll free, (877) 707-9898.
